Recently Magnetic has delivered a major asset relocation project, in partnership with Magnetics sub-contractor Utility Solutions Group who delivered overhead and civil services, for our valued client.
The project called for major works to retire old utility poles and replace them with new high voltage underground cables, to extend and enhance road access to a new, major industrial area in the Southeast of Melbourne.
A major component of the projects involved civil construction, coordinated by Magnetic to supply and install all relevant services to the estate and to provide quality reinstatement works.
The project, relocating 4 HV feeder circuits directly supplied from DVY substation, was highly technical and called for significant quantities of specialised underground works, one of the key strengths of Magnetic Power Services.
Our works involved the supply and installation of underground cables, planning and managing supply shutdowns with the network authorities, all the way through to the testing of works and commissioning of power to the site and the achievement of compliant audit results first time, consistent with Magnetics commitment to quality.
