In just a few short years, our dedicated team has built a reputation as a quality provider of Asset Management and Underground Construction Services, with strong relationships with some of Australia’s largest and most reputable asset owners and service providers.

The team at Magnetic Power Services comprises some of the most experienced in the industry – our team of 30+ employees has been recruited from the industry and has extensive experience on the major distributors networks, including United Energy, Jemena, Ausnet and Powercor.

We have utilised this previous experience & knowledge to build a great internal team culture and a vibrant workforce.

Our experience includes contracts or project works on Distribution Asset Management, High and Low Voltage Construction, Overhead and Underground, HV Asset Management Services, including Preventative & Corrective Maintenance, installation, Testing & Commissioning, Project management Engineering & Design.

Magnetic Power Services is fully committed to establishing high safety, quality and environmental standards. We utilise an Integrated Management System (IMS) covering the three Core Standards of Quality, Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management.

OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM

Mark Knox

15 years’ experience in Senior Management roles with large organisations spanning Government and Not for Profit sectors. A values driven, collaborative leader, he is committed to quality service standards, developing capability in others and building a positive workplace culture, with workplace and employee safety as critical success factors.

Mick O’Brien

A Grade Electrician / DS operator with 30+ years’ experience in the industry delivering positive outcomes. A passionate leader of a highly capable team, Mick is committed to innovative and high-quality service delivery and ensuring the team operates with safety as the highest priority.

Melissa O’Brien

A highly capable and engaging member of the team, Mel is the Finance Manager and an integral part of the Magnetic team ensuring that our payroll, finance, A/R and A/P systems operate smoothly, supporting the work of the Operational Teams.

Warren Horswill

Electrical Fitter and trainer. 40 + years’ experience in the industry. Warren moved to a training role in 2017 training within the VESI industry.

OUR OFFICE TEAM

Daniel Redfern

An experienced store person providing great support to the Magnetic field crew, ensuring the resources for projects are ready when required and that field productivity is maintained.

Jake McGowan

New to the industry, Jake is providing valuable support to the Magnetic team assisting with the auditing and detailing of field projects.

Kelly Peters

20+ years’ experience in the industry spanning a range of key administrative, compliance and quality roles, along with a diploma in Human Resources and Project Management. A committed and highly respected team member who coordinates many of Magnetics key functions diligently and with clients interests as a priority.

Tayla O’Brien

With a background in Administration, recently completing training as a Health and Safety officer to assist with the safety of Magnetic Employees and Clients ensuring that all policies and procedures are adhered to. Along with implementing electronic pre-starts, JSA and Audits.
